We traveled from Guam to Saipan for liberty.  A rare visit to Saipan proved to be an outstanding liberty port.  The ship hadn't been in Saipan since 1997, when she visited in conjunction with a return transit home from exercise FOAL EAGLE 97.

    The crew got to snorkel, dive, hike and take in the sights.  We'll post pictures once they become available and the webmaster has time to upload them.
